You can join as a professor, staff or student here in Hogwarts Event.As a Professor, you will have classes to teach, give assignments, and grades them. You will be granted the ability to give and take away points from houses. And you got the chance to apply as the Head House, who is responsible as the caretaker of one of the houses in Hogwarts.As a Staff, you can enjoy the event without many responsibilities yet included in the event. Depending on your position, the duty could be variative.As a Student, your character will be sorted and join the rest of the participants gathered in one house. You will go to classes, have assignments, watch or play quidditch, and in the end, there's a tournament to conquer.Either way, there's always a surprise and a storyline you will need to solve alongside the event!
ROLES
Head Houses
- Organize and supervise your respective houses, assisted by Prefects.
- Be the representative in case there needs to be a discussion between the admins and your house.
- Assisting your house’s students in forming Quidditch teams.
- Submit the names of Triwizard representatives to the base.
- Although you’re the head of a house, you need to stay neutral and fair to all students.
- Tell the admins/base if you need to go offline and leave your house’s students unattended for a long period (during event hours).
- Overall, look after the students of your house.Professor
- Teach according to the schedules
- Give or deduct house points according to the rules
- Tell the admins/base if suddenly there’s an emergency irl that causes you couldn’t teach your class that day.Staff & Ghost
- Join and participate in the event.
- You don’t need to report if you can’t online, but we’re expecting you to still interact and fully participate in the event.Each 'job' for the staff (not a mandatory):
Nurse: Provides basic healthcare to students and staff.
Keeper of the Grounds: Maintains security on the school grounds and guides new students from the train to the castle.
Librarian: Assists students in finding books needed for their assignments.
Caretaker: Maintains security inside Hogwarts Castle and watches over students during night curfew. The bell will still ring from the base.Prefect
- Be the representative for your house’s students in front of the Professor.
- List down your house’s students and give the list, including those students who are absent (both without news or those who already ask for permission).
- Help the Head House looking after the students in your House.
- Remember that being the Prefect didn't mean you're above other students.
- Prefect cannot add or subtract points. That capability only belongs to professors, head houses, and admins.Students
- Attend classes according to their respective dormitory schedules.
- Complete assignments given by the Professors.
- Participate in Quidditch and Triwizard tournaments.
- Tell the Prefect if you need permission to skip a class.
- Tell the base if you want to leave the event.
ACTIVITIES
Classes:
Where the professors teach and the students learn. To all students, make sure you pay attention and be active in class! You might get extra house points from that.Quidditch:
The most popular sport here in Hogwarts. With a team consisting of 3 Chasers, 1 Keeper, and 1 Seeker. There will be a Quidditch tournament later on so prepare your team!Triwizard:
The tournament to test your skill. Each house will send one representative and they will need to prove themself through three ordeals.Night Curfew:
For the students, you’re not allowed to leave your dorm within the curfew period. The only plots that are allowed to be set outside the dorm are the assignment plots. Any other interaction (both IC and OOC, as long as it’s the character not muntalk) that has the setting outside the house dorm will need to wait until the next day.Yule Ball:
The party after the Triwizard Tournament, where the house cup and the awards would be announced. You can go with or without a partner, but make sure your partner also joins HE, meaning, no outsider is allowed.

RULES
IMPORTANT NOTES.
We apologize for the long rules, since before we had people complaining what they did wasn't against the rules even though it's clearly not appropriate.If you're not sure about any rules, feel free to ask the base and our admin will help you.Roleplayer's rules:
1. Respect all the roleplayers who join this event. Pay respect if you want to be respected. (Please note that respect is not shown just by words but with action as well).
2. RL and RP ARE DIFFERENT. Don't mix the two.
3. No Godmodding. No Metagaming. Meaning no knowing it all in this event.
4. Please be IC and stick to your character's personality.
5. Be realistic and logical. We're in Harry Potter's world so please obey the main rules such as no electronics, no too difficult potions or spells, and such. No animagus for students. (Again, do ask if you're not sure about this rules)
6. No OOT outside the RP term. RT-ing your muse fanart/picture is fine. But no overly RT RL stuff and no spamming things (especially upfol)
7. No BAPER over small things. If there're disagreements or arguments you can't solve, feel free to contact the admins for help.
8. Know the place and know the situation. Hogwarts Event is not an all-serious event. We are here to have fun but each situation has its own time.This is a public event, and we will try to maintain it so that the jokes and topics won't be too triggering and the event won't be too overwhelming, but we also ask you to take care of yourself. If you feel overwhelmed, please take a step back and take care of yourself as well.About FC:
1. We accept all kinds of RP (2D, 3D/Human, Western, Korea, OC, Canon).
2. Do not change your FC during the event. You can swap it before the event is started only. (please read "How To Join" to know how to swap).
3. No Double FC in one character. Other versions of the FC are also not allowed. (example, at first using 2D FC of the character, later changed into the 3D FC. We do not allow this).
4. We allowed twin FCs for different characters/accounts.
5. Your FC must be HUMAN (or Human look alike if the original verse they're a robot, etc). Please refer to Event Rules number 8 for the reason why.
6. Do not use forbidden FC. You can check the list here: 2D, 3D.Regarding NSFW:
1. Hogwarts Event is NOT an NSFW event. Meaning, no over-dirty jokes, also don't RT or post any R18 pictures (nudity, gore).
2. You can be R18 on battle plots, but no smut. Pictures, like kissing or blood, must be marked. NO GIF, NO VIDEOS. Anything NSFW (outside smut) must have TW // CW.
3. Mentioning genital organs in any form (continuously) is not allowed. Occasionally mentioning them as an swears is fine.
4. 'Latah' in making moaning sounds or mentioning R18 things related to genital organs or one that could be considered sexual harassment, even as swears, if it's 'latah' then it's not allowed.Event's Rules:
1. Be active. We allow double accounts (or more) to join HE, but please be active and fair in both accounts.
2. Do follow everyone especially the professors and staffs!
3. Please make sure to check and read the roles and their responsibilities. Make sure you understand them.
4. Do not transfer your account to another writer or person under any circumstances. If you are unable to be active or encounter any issues, please contact the admins or your head house.
5. If you want to withdraw from the event, please inform the base as well as your head house.
6. It is okay to get as many house points as you can get, but don't forget your house's personalities and the limit of your character's abilities. (Examples: Gryffindor go and 'licking' the professor, or use Polyjuice potion as many as you want. That's a big no-no.)
7. If you have a personal SL, please note that the SL cannot override the main SL for HE. Meaning the problem on your personal SL cannot be bigger and have high 'urgency'. For example: if someone died in school, this will override the main SL as it would create an urgency for the whole school.
8. Your character cannot be transported from a different world or anything like that. Joining HE means you will do AU where your character was born and raised in Harry Potter AU. Meaning, your character is a normal human in Harry Potter AU. (No cyborg, elf, etc).
9. Your character also cannot be an exchange student from another wizarding school. But, you can make them born from another country or have different nationality, then 'merantau' to Hogwarts.
10. Canon Hogwarts rules applied. Meaning no going outside the castle, no apparition inside the castle, etc. This includes no animagus for students.
11. Please avoid creating spontaneous GDMs for jokes or memes during the event to keep the focus on house GDMs and timelines; see the full explanation here.Rules for Professors:
1. Please be easy to contact you.
2. Be FAIR.
3. Be responsible and don't neglect the job you have for yourself.
4. Contact the admin and the Prefect if you cannot teach on that day.
5. We do NOT allow the professor to give his/her job to someone else who didn't pass the interviews. This includes giving the account access to other writer.
6. Swapping the schedule with another professor is allowed, but please inform the admin.For the SL, feel free to discuss it with our admins!
The Admins has the right to give SP to, kick, and blacklist anyone who broke the rules.Feel free to inform us if you have questions or suggestions. But please note that for suggestions, we will consider them but not all suggestions will be applied.
HOW to JOIN
For Students:1. Make sure the base already sent out the form
2. Fill out the form, once. There's no need to inform the base if you already filled it.
3. IF you changed your username after filling out the form, fill it out again but make sure you write your previous username next to your new one. (Example : "[Prev : @ArtOfWeather] @72Summoner). There's no need to be the same, as long as the admins could understand it.
4. Please note that if the form is filled out incorrectly, it will be considered invalid and deleted without prior notice. Make sure to read the instructions carefully before submitting.
5. There is NO quota limit, so you may register multiple accounts. However, please ensure that you can remain equally active on each one.

For Professors and Staff:1. Make sure the base already accepting applicants.
2. Fill out the form.
3. Wait for one of our admins to contact you and invite you to the server.
4. The interview will be via DISCORD. We will interview YOU and not your character for RP.
5. Please take note that we won't accept everyone for the Professors and Staff slot. We will pick the people who pass the interview. The system is not 'first come, first served', but through overall scoring from the interview.
6. Available slots are open for Professors, Staff, and Ghosts. You can see how many roles you can apply for within the form.
7. You can try to apply for the Head House position as well, but the Head House will be picked from the Professors who passed the interview for the Professor, and will be interviewed again to see if they can bear the responsibilities.
8. If you're still not sure whether to apply as Head House or not, you can apply again later after being accepted as a Professor.
